Out of School Care

Purpose:
To provide the best possible service to care for primary age children of the local community outside normal school hours. The program aims to be as affordable as possible and at all times conducted in a friendly, safe and enjoyable environment.


Objectives:

  • To provide quality care in a well supervised environment for up to 40 children before school and up to 65 children after school hours.
  • To offer a variety of activities with the opportunity for passive recreation.
  • To provide suitable refreshments for all children.

Operation:
Before School Care 7.00am – 9.00am
After School Care 3.30pm – 6.30pm
Curriculum Days 7.00am – 6.30pm

 

On early dismissal days, the service will start at the time of school dismissal. The service does not operate on public holidays.

 

Facilities:
The service is run on the school premises. The program operates under conditions which are safe and children are secure. The areas where the program is normally conducted are the Gym and GP2 for refreshments and indoor physical activity. During daylight hours, and when weather permits, in the school grounds. In the rare event of the Gym/GP2 not being available, other safe and suitable accommodation is arranged within the school.

 

Enrolments:
Parents/guardians of all children who attend the program at Sunbury West Primary School must enrol their children on line. Simply go to http://www.oshclub.com.au/ and click on new enrolments and follow the prompts for permanent bookings. For casual bookings you will also need to enrol your child on line as well as contacting the program coordinator. When enrolling your child, please make sure you include any medical conditions.

Please note the cost per session includes food/activities.

A percentage of fees are refunded to all families through Childcare Benefit.
